Judy was born and raised in New York City and began her fine arts training at 12 years old at the Arts Student League. She then went on to get a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania where she was privileged to study painting with well known painter, Rackstraw Downes Her love of the East End of Long Island, particularly Sag Harbor, enabled her to paint “en plein air”for over the last 30 years. She is grateful to have a place in the world that she calls home ! A place that inspires her each and every day, by the beauty of landscapes and seascapes that surround her.

Judy is member of both the Southampton Art Alliance and The Art Alliance of East Hampton. She had a one woman show in Manhattan in June 2019 and shows her work all over the Hamptons . She was selected to be in the Curated Show this year at the Springs Invitational Show at Ashawagh Hall.
