About the Work

Toussaint Rosefort is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in New York. His practice is process oriented, spanning sculpture, painting, and installation, often incorporating found objects. Rooted in phenomenology and lived experience, his work abstracts the physical and social landscapes he has moved through while addressing the past that has shaped the present world as he knows it.

Alongside his studies at Parsons and the Art Students League, he holds a B.A. in Political Science, which heavily informs his subject matter. He has exhibited internationally at institutions such as Darb 1718 in Egypt, the Heckscher Museum of Art, and Sabroso Projects in Puerto Rico, and has been featured in publications including Paper Magazine, Hypebeast, and Esquire.
