Zoë Denahy grew up in NYC, where she attended LaGuardia High School and Pratt Institute/Parsons School of Design, earning a BFA in Fine Arts. Professionally, she has worked as an illustrator for various print publications and co-owned a graphic design studio in Soho, specializing in entertainment graphics.

Approximately two decades ago, Zoë returned to painting, and her work has since been featured in various galleries and venues. She is currently a member of Upstream Gallery NY, where she serves as a curator and actively participates in shows.

Inspired by the beauty of the East End, Zoë is primarily a landscape painter who uses abstracted forms of color and light. She is particularly drawn to open spaces where land meets sky and finds horizons fascinating as geometric planes converging. Her preferred media are oil and pastel.
